Performance to say goodbye to a branch

Plants are sensitive and intelligent entities that accompany, nourish and heal. When I arrived at the artist’s residency space R.A.R.O. Madrid I found a branch that had similar characteristics to the vine branch I had been working with in a previous project in Buenos Aires. I started to do practices, actions and scores with it and it accompanied me to each of the places where I spent the night. Acción para despedir una rama is a journey that starts from this encounter and relationship. Together with the branch we made a journey through the streets and pavements that go up and down in the Puerta del Ángel neighbourhood of Madrid, starting from Espacio Proa. 

We built an ephemeral landscape of farewell through performance to close the encounter that opened multiple actions.
