How many bodies go into one body

In this project I focus on the idea that the point of contact of two bodies forms a territory that is linked to a larger community fabric. These bodies can be human, but also animals, vegetables and minerals, because they are part of the same materiality that when they meet each other broadens the possibilities of life. A duo of people forms a territory and when one of them becomes ill or goes through a difficult life situation, the other one sustains and modifies itself. When we approach our gaze to the skin, we realize that we are part of the same totality. Ritualizing the everyday and the intimate allows us to transmute and build autobiography, and at the same time to build other imaginaries of collective and personal transformation.

Durational performance in search of an altar, a sacred place, a mound of stones. With them I come into contact and I build myself as an offering. I am body stone, body earth, that sustains and sustains me, sacred point where something ends and something begins. We are part of the same materiality, collective landscape and expanded soundscape.

VIDEO SERIES

In this series of videos, I use images and footage that are part of the project, and I invite different people to give voice to the texts that are part of the book How many bodies go into one body, to multiply my voice in other voices and other bodies.
